John Ellis

Born in 1941

Joined The Royal Navy at 15 to serve an apprenticeship as an Artificer (ERA).

Served for 15 years ending as a Chief Artificer (CMEA(P)).

A technical instructor for some of that period.

1971 Retrained as a teacher of Mathematics.

Spent 27 years in the classroom teaching mathematics at secondary level.

Retired from teaching at 60 in 2001 to continue to write

and publish Living Worksheets for Mathematics.

Married with three children, now adult.

Lucky to live in Norfolk and actively enjoys sailing a Norfolk One Design (Rainbow),

and a small River Cruiser (Stratus).
